Emeritus Status License (for Regular Licensees ONLY):

For active regular licensed social workers in good standing that have retired from full-time social work practice and have at least twenty years social work experience. Emeritus licensees are exempt from continuing education requirements and pay a reduced renewal fee. Emeritus licensees may perform social work up to twenty hours per week.

To apply for Emeritus status, you may request an application from the Board office by fax, phone, email, or mail. We will mail you the application within five business days of your request.

*Not available to Temporary Licensed Social Workers.
